Midwife Led Antenatal Classes in Horsham
My name is Emma and I am the course teacher for Horsham and also founder of Pregnancy to Parenthood. I am a qualified and practicing NHS midwife and have experience working in a variety of hospitals and settings. From qualifying and taking a job a busy London unit, down to beautiful unit on the south coast and now as a community midwife locally in Horsham and Crawley. I am a mother to two, not so little, girls and I live in Horsham with them, my partner Marcus, who you may speak to from time to time as he is my admin King, our cat Tino and our dog called Zero.I have a passion for all things birth and pregnancy related and am a strong believer in women having good evidence-based information. Allowing them to make informed choices regarding their pregnancy, birth and beyond. I run antenatal classes, I am a trained hypnobirthing practitioner and I offer postnatal breastfeeding support for women who need a bit of extra care in the early days. I am also a Birth Trauma Resolution Practitioner and treat women, partners and NHS staff suffering from PTSD, sub threshold trauma and postnatal depression. Alongside this, I am currently undertaking my psychotherapy training with the Human Givens College of Psychotherapy.
